The Orange Scarf

My grandmother knitted me an orange scarf. Orange is my least favourite colour, and the scarf was long enough to wrap around me four times.

I wore it anyway.

At school, someone said it looked strange.

“It was made for me,” I answered.

Suddenly, that seemed more important than how it looked.
