When light go, everybody shout.
Then generator come on
and everybody calm down,
like they forget say light went before.
My brother say other countries
light no dey go like this.
I say how you know, you never go there.
He say he just know.
I say okay.
But when generator start,
that sound ehn —
like somebody promise you
everything go be alright —
I like that sound.
Even if the light yellow small.
Even if it's struggling.
