Black

by Aditi

I lurk through trees.

I sleep at sun,

I'm down at moon.

I'm a different type of jaguar;

I'm pure black.

I swim in water.

I catch spider monkeys

When they can't see

That they're near me.

I'm rare;

I'm one out of 16.

There I lurk

Between land

And sea.

With a blur of black,

That is me.
