Dear Summer,

You left without saying goodbye.

Yesterday, the trees began dropping their letters. Red ones, yellow ones, brown ones—each saying the same thing:

Things are changing.

I am trying not to be angry with you. Autumn is beautiful too, although it arrives with colder hands.

Please come back when you can.
